Train 32 is a Special Express, fully air-condition service to Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok, operating with just 2nd and 1st class Day & Night carriages.
These carriages are the new Chinese made CNR coaches and are more expensive than the much older trains on this route.
2nd Class air-con seats.
1st Class air-con seats.
Operating with the new Chinese carriages (first introduced in to Thailand in late 2016), this is by far the most comfortable and modern of all trains on this route, but it comes at a price.
By the time the train arrives in Hua Hin on its overnight journey from Hat Yai, the sleeping berths will be turning back to seats and you can enjoy some breakfast from the restaurant car, or order from the attendant and have it delivered to your seat.
It is always best to book your seats in advance for these Special Express services.
Quite a few passengers will be disembarking at Hua Hin, so there should not be a problem with getting a seat, but it is still best to book at least a few days in advance, just in case.
You can book tickets by visiting the Hua Hin station ticket counter (or any other SRT station).
