Taking the LRT Ampang to TBS train (via Bandar Tasik Selatan station) is the quickest and best way to travel to KL's main bus terminal with regular RapidKL Light Rapid Transit trains departing from the early morning until late in the evening.
Once you arrive at Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) integrated LRT / ERL / KTM railway station, it is just a short walk via the elevated footbridge to get to TBS bus terminal (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan).

There are no direct trains from Ampang to TBS / BTS, so you have to take the following route:
From Ampang station, take the LRT Ampang Line in the direction of Sentul Timur to Chan Sow Line interchange station (trip duration of 16 minutes).

At Chan Sow Lin station, change onto the Sri Petaling LRT Line and take a train heading in the direction of Putra Heights from Chan Sow Lin to Bandar Tasik Selatan (trip duration of 12 minutes).
