Johor Bahru Taman Negara Train Via Jerantut
Travel to Malaysia's most famous National Park on the Johor Bahru Taman Negara Train operated by KTM Berhad to Jerantut, the main gateway town to the park.
There is currently only one service on this route, a night sleeper service.
This train offers comfortable sleeping berths / beds so you can get a few hours rest while you travel, as well a cheaper 2nd class seat carriages.

Trains 26 and 27, the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran night train services have either 2nd class seat coaches or 2nd class sleeper coaches and cost:
2nd class seats:
Adult - 30 MYR / Child - 19 MYR
Sleeper Beds:
Upper Berth: Adult - 36 MYR / Child - 25 MYR
Lower Berth: Adult - 42 MYR / Child - 31 MYR

Tickets can be purchased directly from the Johor Bahru railway station (JB Sentral) or at Jerantut station or you can book them online direct from the Malaysian Railways own website, or through an online ticketing agent which is a far simpler booking process but is now a little more expensive than booking directly from KTM.
If you are looking to travel from nearby Singapore to Taman Negara by train, you will now have to take a Shuttle Train from Woodlands Railway Station to JB Sentral Railway Station, where all KTMB Intercity Trains now originate from.
