The fast ferry to LangkawiFrom Kuala Kedah Jetty there are many high-speed boats that make the trip over to Langkawi every day of the year.
The trip to Kuah is scheduled to take just one hour, 45 minutes.
These fast boats are operated by the Langkawi Ferry Line and there are frequent trips a day in each direction, with the first ferry to Langkawi leaving at 7am and the last ferry at 7pm.

How to get to Kuala Kedah
If you don't have your own transport, the only way to get to the Jetty at Kuala Kedah, is either by taxi or by a local bus that operates between here and the nearby city of Alor Setar.

Kuala Kedah to Langkawi Ferry Ticket Prices / Fares

One way tickets on these ferries coat 23 MYR for Adults and 17 MYR for Children aged between 3 and 12 years old.
Tickets are normally sold as one-way tickets only and there is no discount for return fares.
You will have to buy your return ticket from the ticket counters at Kuah Jetty, which are located outside the main terminal building, behind the KFC restaurant.
