To get to Rawang using the MRT train you have to first take a short 5-minute walk to the nearest MRT station at Muzium Negara (there is a pedestrian walkway between the two stations).
From there you can then take a frequent MRT train from Muzium Negara to Sungai Buloh Integrated Railway Station.
From Sungai Buloh you can then connect to the KTM Komuter route to Rawang.
