Please Note: From June 2018, KTM will be carrying out upgrading work to the tracks and there will only be a few direct services from Rawang to KL Sentral.
During this time you can still travel to Kuala Lumpur Sentral cheaply by using the following route:
Take the Komuter train to Sungai Buloh.
From Sungai Buloh take the MRT train to Muzium Negara >
Walk along the pedestrian linkway for 5 minutes to KL Sentral Station.

These commuter services stop at the following stations on-route to KL Sentral:
Kuang, Sungai Buloh, Kepong Sentral, Kepong, Segambut, Putra, Bank Negara and Kuala Lumpur old station.

These services then continue on past KL, to Port Klang (Pelabuhan Klang), stopping at:
Angkasapuri, Pantai Dalam, Petaling, Jl. Templer, Kampung Dato Harun, Seri Setia, Setia Jaya, Subang Jaya (for KTM Skylink services), Batu Tiga, Shah Alam, Padang Jawa, Bukit Badak, Klang, Teluk Pulai, Teluk Gadong, Kampung Raja Uda and Jl. Kastam
Change trains at KL Sentral for Komuter services on the Batu Caves - Tampin Line for places like Bandar Tasik Selatan (for TBS Bus Station) and Seremban.
ETS Trains from Rawang to KL Sentral

If you do not want to take the Komuter services, the other option is to take one of the ETS Electric Trains that stop in Rawang on their way to Kuala Lumpur.
The most frequent (and easiest trains to get tickets on) are the services that operate on the Ipoh and KL Sentral route.
These trains are more frequent than the longer distance ETS services and are usually cheaper as they are either Gold or Silver services.
