You can use these commuter trains to travel from KL Sentral to:
Komuter trains are not the most comfortable way to travel by train from Kuala Lumpur to Tanjung Malim, but are easily the cheapest.
KTM Komuter trains are very much like tube / subway trains.
Seating is usually arranged down the sides of the carriages, with standing room in the middle of the car.
Seating is on a first com, first served basis, so you may find you have to stand during busy periods of the day.
If this does not appeal to you, you can always take an ETS Train.
Unlike the commuter services, the Electric Train Services offer travel with a reserved seat.
They are more expensive, but if you want to travel more comfortably and more quickly, these are the trains to use.
Like all KTM Komuter Trains, no advance purchase is available or necessary.
You just turn up at the station and buy a ticket for the next departure.
If you want to travel on the ETS services, you will have to reserve your seat.
Booking in advance is always good advice, as these trains can often be full.
Advance ETS tickets are available from any KTM station ticketing counter or you can easily book online.
