The KTM Bangi Railway Station (Stesen Keretapi Bangi) is located in Selangor, Malaysia and is serviced by regular Komuter Train services (commuter) on the Batu Caves - KL Sentral - Pulau Sebang / Tampin Line.

KTM's Komuter services offer a good, cheap way to travel from Bangi to Kuala Lumpur city centre where you can connect to other services at the main transport hub in Kuala Lumpur - KL Sentral Railway Station.

KTM Komuter trains from Bangi stop at the following station on the route from Bangi to KL Sentral Station / Batu Caves:

UKM, Kajang, Serdang, Bandar Tasek Selatan BTS (for TBS Bus Terminal), Salak Selatan, Seputeh, Mid Valley and KL Sentral (change here for the Tanjung Malim to Port Klang Komuter Line)

Stops after KL Sentral on the route to Batu Caves are:

Kuala Lumpur (old station), Bank Negara, Putra, Sentul, Batu Kentonmen, Kampung Batu, Taman Wahyu and Batu Caves.


Travelling south from Bangi, these trains stop at the following stations:

Batang Benar, Nilai, Labu, Tiroi, Seremban,, Senawang, Sungai Gadut, Rembau and Pulau Sebang / Tampin.

To continue your train journey from Pulau Sebang / Tampin, you can connect to Shuttle Train services that operate to Johor State, terminating at JB Sentral Railway Station in Johor Bahru.

KTM Bangi ETS Trains

There are no fast Electric Train Services (ETS) from Bangi.

If you want to take one of these long distance trains to places like Ipoh, Butterworth Penang, or up to the Thai border at Padang Besar, you can either:

1) Take a Komuter train to the nearest ETS stop at Kajang just two stop up the line to KL (only a few ETS trains a day currently stop here).

2) The best option is to take a Komuter train from Bangi to KL Sentral Station, then from here you can connect to all ETS services.
