If you want to catch the train from Ipoh to Singapore, you will now have to catch an ETS Train to Gemas, then a Shuttle train to JB Sentral Railway Station in Johor Bahru (on the border with Singapore), then either continue on to Singapore by bus or take the Shuttle Train that takes just five minutes to cross over the Causeway to Woodlands Station.
With the new KTMB train timetable (starting 19th May 2016), all long distance Intercity trains have now been cancelled on the North - South Railway Line.
From Ipoh there are a number of high-speed Electric Train Services (ETS) heading south and terminating at Gemas.

South of Gemas, there is currently no electrified dual track, so you will have to change trains to an older style Shuttle Trains to JB Sentral Station in Johor Bahru.
