KTMB Train from Singapore to Kota Bharu Kelantan 2026 Schedule Fares
Taking the train from Singapore to Kota Bharu in Kelantan, lets you travel on the scenic "Jungle Railway" that travels through the heart of Peninsular Malaysia.
For those in a hurry you can take the Express night train in either direction, but this way you miss much of the scenery.
For those with more time, there are shuttle services which are much slower, but let you see most of the fantastic jungle scenery along its route.
The nearest railway station to the town of Kota Bahru is Wakaf Bharu, located a few kilometres to the west of town and served by a regular bus.

Train Fares Singapore Kota Bahru (Wakaf Bharu)
As these services are now departing from JB Sentral in Malaysia, you no longer have to worry about the two-tier pricing system that was in place.
If you want to catch the Shuttle Train Service from Woodlands to JB Sentral, tickets cost 5 SGD (5 MYR from JB to Woodlands).
