Buying ETS Tickets to Tapah Road from Penang Island or Butterworth
To travel by ETS train in Malaysia you need a ticket to board the train.
This ticket comes with a reserved seat number in one of the six carriages.
As seat numbers are limited and standing passengers are not allowed, we advise you to book tickets in advance to make sure you can get a seat.

1) Visit the KTM ticket office on Penang Island located along the walkway up to the ferry jetty where boats leave for Butterworth.
