Train numbers starting with an EG are ETS Gold Services.
Train numbers starting with an ES are the cheapest (but now very infrequent) ETS Silver Services.
Train numbers starting with an EP are ETS Platinum Services that include a business class carriage.
Train numbers starting with "90" are usually the easiest services to get seats on as they are trains that operate on the dedicated Ipoh to KL ETS route.
The other numbered trains are long-distance services from either Butterworth or Padang Besar.
