Taking the Hua Hin to Ban Krut train is a nice, easy and cheap way to travel to this lovely small beach resort, with Ban Krut railway station located in the small town centre, around ten minutes walk away from the beach.
Travel by bus from Hua Hin to Ban Krut is much less convenient, as the bus will drop you off on the highway, then you will have to get transport from there (around 10 Kilometres away) to the beach.

Train numbers 39/41 and 43 are Special Express Diesel Railcar sprinter trains and only have 2nd Class seat carriages (Air-Conditioned)

If you want to travel on the Special Express DRC trains, it is highly advisable to book your seats in advance.
