If you want to travel from Melaka to Thailand by train, you can take the KTM ETS Tampin to Padang Besar High-speed Electric Train Service, or you can travel to KL Sentral Railway Station in Kuala Lumpur, where there are more departures a day.
To get to Tampin Railway Station (also called Pulau Sebang) you will have to take a bus from Melaka Sentral Bus Station or a taxi.

If you want to travel from Melaka to Hat Yai by train, once at Padang Besar railway station you can connect to the Shuttle train that departs from here to Hat Yai Junction Railway Station.
