The KTM Batang Melaka Railway Station (Stesen Keretapi Batang Melaka) is located on the border of the Melaka and Negeri Sembilan states of Malaysia and is served by KTM trains on the West Coast Line (North - South Line).
Currently there are two types of trains operating to/from Batang Melaka.

Currently the KTM ETS train services travel between Gemas (just one stop to the south), all the way to the Malaysia / Thailand border station of Padang Besar.
There are only a few ETS Gold Services that currently stop in Batang Melaka.
You can use these trains to travel from Batang Melaka to KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Butterworth Penang Sentral, Alor Setar and Arau (for boats to Langkawi Island) or all the way up to Thailand.

As the railway line south of Gemas is currently being upgraded to accommodate the new fast ETS trains, this sector of track still uses the older diesel trains.
A few of the Shuttle Trains services to JB Sentral Station now originate from Tampin / Pulau Sebang (just one stop to the north).
You can use these services to travel from Batang Melaka by train to the southern states of Malaysia, stopping at:
Gemas, Batu Anam, Segamat, Genuang, Tenang, Labis, Bekok, Paloh, Chamek, Kluang, Mengkibol, Renggam, Layang-Layang, Kulai and Kempas Baru before terminating at JB Sentral.
To travel from Batang Melaka to Singapore by train, you will have to change trains at JB Sentral Station where there is a regular 5-minute Shuttle Train over to Woodlands Railway Station in Singapore.
