The quickest way to get to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS Bus Station) is to take the direct ETS Taiping to TBS train operated by Malaysia Railways (KTM Berhad).
Travelling by bus from Taiping to TBS is cheaper, however, there are no long-distance bus stations in Taiping so you will first have to take a taxi or local bus out to either Kamunting Bus Terminal or Medan Simpang Bus Terminal (around 6 km away).
This adds a lot of time to your journey so if you want to travel as fast as possible, the train is the best way to go.
To get to TBS bus terminal in KL, you need to take the train to Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) railway station.
From BTS train station, it is just a short walk over to the TBS bus terminal with both buildings directly connected by an elevated walkway.
You can also connect to the LRT train which can take you from BTS station to most parts of KL city centre and around the Klang Valley.

With KTM now using a Flexi Fare system for ETS train tickets, the price you pay for your tickets to Bandar Tasek Selatan now varies depending on when you are travelling and how far in advance you book your seats.
If you plan on taking an ETS train in Malaysia, all bookings come with a reserved seat number and carriage with no standing passengers allowed.
This limits the number of tickets that can be sold for any train and at certain times of the year, trains can get fully booked well in advance so to make sure you can get a seat, book as far in advance as you possible can.
To make an advance booking you can either:
Visit any KTM ETS train station ticket counter and purchase your tickets in person.
