To travel from KTM Pulau Sebang / Tampin to Langkawi by train, you can take the ETS Tampin to Arau train that gets you to the nearest KTM station to the jetty at Kuala Perlis where you can take the shortest boat ride over to Pulau Langkawi Kuah jetty (boats take one hour and 15 minutes).
Another option is to take the train from Tampin to Alor Setar where you can connect to Kuala Kedah Jetty.
The boat from Kuala Kedah takes one hour and 45 minutes.
