The best way to travel from KL Sentral to Shah Alam Seksyen 19 is to take one of the KTM Komuter (commuter) trains which operate regularly throughout the day from the first train in the early morning until the last train in the late evening.

Unlike travel by ETS train in Malaysia, travelling by KTM Komuter trains requires no advance ticket booking.

Just turn up at KL Sentral, buy your tickets (tokens) from the KTM Komuter ticket counter (or use one of the vending machines), then take the next train heading towards Port Klang (Pelabuhan Klang).

Seating onboard KTM Komuter trains are on a first-come, first-served basis, just like you will find on Subway and Tube trains in western countries.

It is always best to avoid travelling during the rush hours in the early evening when workers will be heading home from the centre of Kuala Lumpur to Shah Alam.
