The KTM Klang Station (Stesen Keretapi) is located centrally within the town and served by regular Komuter (commuter) trains on the Tanjung Malin - KL Sentral - Port Klang Line.
Trains depart from Klang to KL Sentral from early in the morning for commuters travelling to the city, with returning trains from KL Sentral to Klang running until the late evening.

1) from Klang to Kl Sentral to Tanjung Malim stopping at: Bukit Badak, Padang Jawa, Shah Alam, Batu Tiga, Subang Jaya (Skypark Link), Setia Jaya, Seri Setia, Kg Dato Harun, Jl Templer, Petaling, Pantai Dalam, Angkasapuri, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur's old Terminal KTM station, Bank Negara, Putra, Segambut, Kepong, Kepong Sentral, Sungai Buloh, Kuang, Rawang, Serendah, Batang Kali, Rasa, Kuala Kubu Bharu, and Tanjung Malim.
2) from (Pelabuhan Klang) Port Klang to Klang stopping at: Jalan Kastam, Kampung Raja Uda, Teluk Gadong and Teluk Pulai.
Use this timetable if you want to find train departure times in the other direction:
1) from Tg. Malim / KL Sentral to Klang.
2) trains to the coast at Port Klang
The duration on the train journey from Klang to KL Sentral station in Kuala Lumpur takes is between one hour, 5 minutes to one hour, ten minutes.
For trains going all the way to Tanjung Malim, the duration of the journey is around two hours, 50 minutes.
The train to Port Klang takes around 18 minutes.
Travel by commuter train is a good way to travel from Klang to KL Sentral Railway Station, where you can connect to the Batu Caves - Tampin Komuter Line for services to places like TBS Bus Station, Seremben or connect to long distance Electric Train Services (ETS) heading north to the Thai border and Butterworth Penang, or south to Gemas, JB Sentral and Singapore.
