KTM Pasir Mas Train Schedule 2024 (Jadual Kereta Api) Intercity, Shuttle
The KTM Pasir Mas railway station (stesen keretapi Pasir Mas) is located in Kelantan on the East Coast Line (Jungle Line) and is the closest railway station to the Malaysia - Thailand border crossing at Rantau Panjang / Sungai Kolok.
There is a railway line between Pasir Mas and Sungai Kolok, however, there are no passenger services on this route.
So, to get from Pasir Mas to the Thai border you will have to take a local bus or taxi.
Once you cross the border into Thailand, you can then connect to SRT trains from Sungai Kolok to Hat Yai or Bangkok.

Malaysia Railways (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad - usually known by the shortened KTM or KTMB) run train services along the East Coast Line with long-distance Intercity services heading to/from Tumpat in the north and to/from JB Sentral in Johor Bahru in the south.
You can also take the Shuttle train services in Kelantan that stop at every station along the route for shorter rail trips.
To get from Pasir Mas to Kuala Lumpur by train you will have to change trains at Gemas station where the East Coast Line connects to the West Coast Line and take an ETS train from Gemas to KL.

The most popular train on the East Coast Line is the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran service that operates between Tumpat station and JB Sentral in Johor Bahru.
This train stops at only the larger stations along the route with trains calling at the following stations (from north to south):

- Kerambit
- Jerantut (for Taman Negara National Park)
- Kuala Krau
- Mentakab
- Triang
- Kemayan
- Bahau

For trains from Pasir Mas to Kota Bharu (Wakaf Bharu) and Tumpat to the north, you can take any of the KTM trains heading north.
